Table Tennis Training in Ireland

The Table Training Program took place in Galway, Ireland, within the Erasmus+ project SPAUT. The program aimed to improve the table tennis skills and social behaviors of children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) through a training program tailored to the needs of individuals with ASD, as well as the use of an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) table tennis application.

Two coaches of table tennis and four children with ASD were involved in the program.

This report discusses the premises of the University of Galway, Ireland, where the training program took place, along with the program's details, including the number of training sessions, performance on the final assessment compared to the initial assessment, observations on the social skills and behaviors of the children, and children's feedback on the training program and the SPAUT VR app of table tennis.
